@BenTheHero11 Believe it or not, the people that wrote that show (you named it perfectly, btw) are the same people who wrote this series of comics. The artists and directors are different though. So there ARE similarities with this and the show, since both are mainly based on humor.

@zimsluv18 1-3) No, Blaze, Shadow, and Silver are from different storylines. Amy appears early on.

@smsjgoku of Sonic the hedgehog the series not countingt he four issue min-series, 225 as of May. But there are also other specials and Sonic X which was 40 issues and Sonic universe which will soon be 29 issues.

They seemed to tone down dr robotnicks character isn't this based off the series of Sonic the animated series? I woulda pefered it if, they based the comic off of Adventures of Sonic the hedgehog? A funnier version would make more sense. Not the sally crap.

@DragoDillPepper This is based off of SatAM. The AOTSH ain't possible to a comic series, being it is based for young audiences.

However, for more mature things, Archie had better potential and was good :P

@AustinBoyer Yes it is. This comic IS based off of Satam. Actually, the comic came first and the show came a couple months later.

@SonicComicWorld wrong, the show happened first made by dic entertainment, but only AFTER the show was cancelled did dic hand it over, they didnt wanna split the money before as it was good income, but they gave lincense to archie when the show went off the air, whitch is why it took so long to come out.
