Also the two biggest contenders for the gold, Mao and Yuna, received level 1 for their spirals and spins in this competition while Carolina got level 4's for almost all of them. i mean, It's pretty obvious now that I think about it.

@imxpnsv if u care to notice, all scores in the SP and FS at this event were very low, that was because that parcitular season (2007/2008) the ISU made modifications to change levels because certain movements and positions were being over used! :) cheers

yeah maybe its because of her back injury that's why she having a hard time way back then but in 09 championship she really shines there.. love her totally she's pretty an good ice dancer and very good singer.. two thumbs up!!

I think you're overreacting, this is from 2 years ago, yu'na's skating here is nowhere near the quality it is now, she has much more flow and more precise edges. her step sequence is fairly simple compared to the other skaters and her recent work. But we are not judges so it doesn't matter what we think. And even if it did, its too late to change anything.
That lutz didn't get downgraded. It's because of her spiral(lv1), step sq(lv2), the last spin(lv2), low GOE and PCS(about 28) which are totally unacceptable and underestimated. Look at their face in Kiss and Cry zone! I'm so sad..

@imxpnsv It's clearly because the judges favored kostner this time. If you think about it she won the SP with a failed 3Lz. Also the two biggest contenders for the gold, Mao and Yuna, received level 1 for their spirals and spins in this competition while Carolina got level 4's for almost all of them. i mean, It's pretty obvious now that I think about it.

@vitawaterlove agree, I wish there was a way for these poor athletes to compete without the stupid judges. I mean, I'm sick of this! The scores at the Oly's were a joke, the 2008 championships were poorly judged and the 2010 worlds were just the most ridiculous thing ever

@imxpnsv if u care to notice, all scores in the SP and FS at this event were very low, that was because that parcitular season (2007/2008) the ISU made modifications to change levels because certain movements and positions were being over used! :) cheers

@imxpnsv She didn't hold the positions long enough. In order to get a level 4, she had to hold it 3 seconds on each position. Once she holds the position, they start counting.

Of course she'll win the world championships and break the world record once again.She does that in every competition because the judges keep overscoring her.A lot of commentators also said that her scores in the Olympics were inflated.Even if Yuna makes mistakes and others skate perfectly she will win and is that really fair?She did deserve to win the Olympics but her score was ridiculous.

how is that unacceptable? I think you're overreacting, this is from 2 years ago, yu'na's skating here is nowhere near the quality it is now, she has much more flow and more precise edges. her step sequence is fairly simple compared to the other skaters and her recent work. But we are not judges so it doesn't matter what we think. And even if it did, its too late to change anything.

That lutz didn't get downgraded. It's because of her spiral(lv1), step sq(lv2), the last spin(lv2), low GOE and PCS(about 28) which are totally unacceptable and underestimated. Look at their face in Kiss and Cry zone! I'm so sad..

hahaa this commentary is much better than this year's. They keep saying nothing but shes like the best nowadays. They dont explain about yuna's or other skater's program. They just say things like "Ahh... " or "Ohhh..."
