VZW will not be getting any fones with a front facing camera until they get a 4G LTE network and the Merge/Lexicon/Lexikon does not have a front facing camera. it has a 800mhz processor but the processing speed is on par with a 1ghz snap dragon. it has a slide out full qwerty keyboard, 5mp camera (idk if it has 720p vid capt.)its shipping with android 2.2 and HTC sense 1.6, but its not branded as a google device, and it has bing...<--- epic fail for bing

I am so excited about the Merge coming out. I love my HTC Incredible. I actually had the X and sold it to buy another Incredible. The X was too big for me. Definitely not a fan of Motoblur or Ninjablur, whatever they decided to call it. Anyway, I noticed in your comments that you mentioned about rooting the phone to put whichever UI you wanted on your Android phone. I didn't realize you could do that.

If I'm not mistaken, the droid X and the samsung galaxy s are very comparable in terms of power, both have separate gpu's and both of their processors are significantly more powerful than the snapdragon processor.

The samsung galaxy s processor is about 1.5 times as powerful as a snapdragon pone if they are running the same version of Android(2.1 in this case). (at least in benchmarks)

A believe the droid X processor is just as powerfull as the galaxy S.

It will probably come out Thanksgiving week, not 2011. Because that's when Verizon said they are officially releasing their LTE network and they said their first LTE phones will be out with it. (And since this has a front-facing camera for video chat it will probably be one of those first LTE phones.)

@annihlator3 You can download a free app like Watchtower, which scans all the crap you're gonna be downloading before it's actually applied to your phone. It checks for viruses and malware so rest at ease. :)

@itsbitches Android doesn't make a new phone every month, Android is the OS that is used by the phone. The phones that come out with Android on them are made by the various mobile phone companies e.g. Motorola and HTC

Think of Android as Windows and the phone companies as maybe Dell or HP
