As a result of this vid, when people ask me about flying and owning a plane, and I describe it with having "what you call 'em sticking out on the sides", they ask me if I mean wings, I ask them if they're pilots too. The cool guys can't keep a straight face while the people who take me seriously aren't the type that I like to invite flying anyway. "Are you sure you're not a pilot?" cracks me up every time.

Foster Brooks was on a jetliner one time and the passengers recognized him. So the stewardess let him take the microphone and do a little routine. He pretended to be the pilot talking to the tower and then to the passengers. Everyone in first class loved it. The ones who were not in the first class section did not know who it really was and got scared. The real pilot had to come on and calm the others down. Foster told this to an interviewer once.

This is too funny. I am gonna have to buy this show on DVD. I have seen the infomercial for the how. Looks like a really good show for its time.
