  • Definitely the most /hardcore/ job, ever.

  • 2:34........Look mom no hands!!

  • That's why we are the #1 Superpower of the world, and nobody would dare take us on. Oh not to mention our allies send only their so called "best" to the USA to learn how to fly before they return back. Sorry rocketcat, you need to face facts that no other country come close to the calliber of the US armed forces

  • i think the sound is of just a bit

  • atrocious sound track.. but vid is OK.

  • can you be a fighterpilot if you through up? or will you get used to it?

  • nice vid, but sound is fucked up!?

  • Air Force + atreyu = bad ass video!

  • Want to check out my new fighter jet video too?

    Please comment

  • i always wondered how fighter go to the bathroom when they need to!? plz reply!!!!

  • @andregerbaulet We have 'piddle packs.' You just loosen your lap belt, hick your G-Suit waist portion up, and unzip your flight suit from the bottom. We then have heavy plastic bags with a granulated chemical which turns your piss into a jello like consistancy. It then has a folding top with bending clamps that seals it. You then throw it in the trash when you get back on the ground. Nothing too cosmic.

  • :OOO just a few more months until I start my training :D cant wait till Im up in the F-18 super hornet

  • Song artist and name please

  • ooops!

  • best ever video i saw on my life

  • Comment removed

  • 2:00 : consider your bunker, busted.

  • Title states Fighter pilot training, I don't want to be a smartass or anything but is this like more of a bombing pilot training?

  • @D3mon5lay3r their still fighter pilots reguardless. you don't go to AFA or Naval academy to be a bomber pilot. Their all fighter pilots.

  • @D3mon5lay3r Well fighters drop bombs also. In Afghanistan, F-15's and F-16's are doing

most of the bombing work in the hot areas...

  • U.S has the best Air Force in the world! No other country can beat us!

  • well .. this , goes to the favorites

  • tristan kahika insane

  • Does taking aerospace engineering as your major help you get a PILOT slot? I know currently the AF is looking specifically for computer, electrical, and environmental engineering but that is for the general AF careers? Like does taking aerospace engineering necessarily help you because like you have an introduction to fluid mechanics, meteorology, etc.

  • No, it does not. What matters the most is your GPA, physical fitness, AFOQT score, TBAS score, and Commander's Ranking. The only thing any other career field may limit you from doing is becoming a test pilot. Although I have met several people that are still majoring in engineering because they want a back up in case they don't decide to stay in the USAF.

  • Is the TBAS a part of the AFOQT or is it a separate test?

  • Seperate.

  • @omgwtfbbq6666 It will help you get a scholarship. There are plenty of pilots who business, art, history, turf grass management, and other degrees...

  • What kind of marks to you have to get to be a fighter pilot?

  • passes in English, maths, science is basic put u all so need to have 5 op subjects

physics for science and a advanced maths

if u live in Australia i can tell u more cuz i live in Australia and i am going to be a fighter pilot

  • No, you don't have to do Physics. 2U Maths is required, but if you didn't do it in high school, don't worry. The ADF allows many TAFE and private courses as long as they have the same content, which is mainly calculus based.

  • well i was told by a student councilor at my school u had to do physics

and i dont know what 2U maths is but i am doing maths B

  • Bah, student councilors. Give the real defence force recruiting guys a call, they know what they're on about.

I guess two totally different skillsets are needed though, depending on the entry pathway, ADFA or DEO.

  • in the u.k it dosent matter what u do but u need decent grades

  • @00rouchy00 contray to believe now a days although academic skills help, must modern air forces look for characteristic skills of the individual, such as working under pressure or a willingness to learn and tend to push grades aside. Its more about what the individual can offer rather than what they can produce on paper

  • @boltontoughnut SWEET i was worried about being not makin it as a piolot cuz im not bright im at an above average acedemic level but not a genius which wass wot i thought u had to be. cheers mate uve really boosted my confidence!

  • @00rouchy00 hey buddy, u still need a 4 year education for becoming an officer first though..good luck!

  • Just do well in school, join an ROTC (reserve officer training course) program in college, almost any degree (including a liberal arts) will qualify you to become an Air Force pilot. Then you have to do well on the AFOQT, and there has to be a slot available. UPT (undergraduate pilot training) is getting tougher and tougher to get into, because, frankly, there are less and less pilot seats available, and that will continue as unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV's) appear to be the wave of the future

  • However, if you do get accepted into UPT, it will be the best year of your life. You'll work your ass off and learn a bunch. You'll make life-long friends, some of whom you'll get to bury along the way, but that's all part of the game. Once you graduate, in about a year, you'll get your A/C assignment, the plane you'll fly for real. Then it's off to A/C specific training, then to your first real squadron for a few years. Fighters are the best, but they are also the hardest to get into.

  • Yea, thats why the USAF has the top air superiority! You're dumb

  • @Goodspeed56 lol RNLAF ( dutch ) F16 pilots always beat USAF f16 pilots

  • @reindenaab Is that why your country sends Dutch pilot trainees to Sheppard AFB in America to learn to fly? I'm pretty sure the reason they do that is becuase of the caliber of training here and we know what the F we are doing. Sorry to burst your bubble!

  • @Goodspeed56 No its not im sorry, the dutch pilots dont get trained by americans, they get trained by the dutch, but IN america, not by americans lol. they train together, but u nationalistic americans once will get failed by europe, europe is sick of being ''usa's brother in war'', i can tell u.... and when europe doesnt support usa anymore.... u should be scared... cus then russia and china will take their chances. and that day is coming ( and the islam bitches too ) but fk them

  • @reindenaab Well sorry to tell you....I am here right now in pilot training with a few Dutch pilots in my class, and I can assure you that they do not just fly with Dutch pilots. And as far as Europe not being an ally to us anymore, well how has that worked out for you guys in the past against America?

  • @Goodspeed56 ofcourse you are, you say ur not, the government says you are? hmm yea u must be right citizen, ur own government makes u fail, but if i wish we didnt have to be allies, europe is stronger than us now, Uk germany france spain portugal italy russia etc, russia alone might even take the us on well, and now u also have every muslim aginast u,

    + china loves u, NOT

  • @reindenaab HAHAHA if half of what you said made sense, I might actually take you seriously. We have a better military power than the next top 6 countries combined.....and that is a FACT. Look it up in a simple political scinece book dude. If anybody was dumb enough to try to start a war on the US, they would be wiped out easily.....yes China and Russia too. We will find life on another planet before dumbasses like you try to put your money where your mouth is.....

  • @Goodspeed56 You're the 'dumbass' here, running your mouth thinking you know what you're talking about. Fighter pilot; yeah right.

  • @Goodspeed56 The calibre is good, now that you have a Top Gun school based on Waddington's Air Warfare Centre.

  • @Goodspeed56

usaf is made up of a bunch of cocksuckers, they wouldn't know air superiority even if it fucked them up the arse... :D

  • @rock3tcat frog

  • great video

  • soundtrack and artist plz

  • ok quick question, sorta, someone said pararescue in his class had 109 people 9 became pararescue men, what has a better chance of being accepted, fighter pilot, or pararescueman?

  • lmao wow good question im not a pilot but im sure the object is not to be jumping out of the jet

  • you misunderstood my question...

  • i got the question but think about it who has a better chance of being a pilot someone who became a person aloud to jump out of plane or the guy that has taken his pilots class i would pick a pilot because hes not thinking about jump out as a joke

  • no, i'm saying one person who has no experience whatsoever in either field becoming a pararescueman vs. trying to become a pilot, and who is jumping for a joke?

  • ok image a pararscueman as a pilot he has tranning in jump out of the plane

but if you dont have that tranning your not going to jump out of a plane because you dont jump from something going over 10mph or something 30000 feet up so as a joke they wouldnt higher him because hes going to jump from the aircraft

  • so what your saying has nothing to do with my original question

  • yes but i was making a joke

  • hahaha ok i thought you were being sarcastic

  • Both are equally difficult, in their respective fields.

PJs are amazing. The creme of the crop for Air Force SF. They have the highest drop-out rate of ANY USSOCOM groups: SEALs, 1-SFOD Delta CAG, and FORECON.

Fixed-wing USAF pilots are the best fighter pilots in the world. Navy pilots would disagree, and they have their arguments. Pilot selections are very tough and only the best fly those marked 'F'.

  • ok thank you very much, also thank you for the serious reply

  • @usafwings09 Sorry that's the RAF, whose training Top Gun is copied from.

  • @stig781 Is that why you send your pilots to America to train? Oh it must be because you guys are sideline sitters waiting for America to make all the moves before you jump in and ride the coat tails!

  • i want to do ROTC but my High School does'nt have one...i'll just have to wait til college :(

  • Remember if you do well in college getting admitted to OTS shoudlnt be a problem

  • Can anyone tell me what's the song name??

  • Atreyu- Ex's and Oh's

  • Thanks!

  • you have to have a lot of money to be spending on those sidewinders and A to S bombs.

  • F-16

  • Nice Video, By the way which song is this?

  • What jet is this. I think its a F-15 or an F-16 but I'm not too sure.

  • that looks awesome, if i wasnt epileptic i'd definately want to be a fighter pilot

  • whats the song in this video?

  • *gasp* i cant wait for my turn

  • it cluster bombs

  • dude I know to fly a f-16 from a simulation its easy

  • take off and land sure. but simulator is a simulator. there are big differences between the real thing and simulator.

  • yeah, huge difference

  • hahahahaha, no you dont buddy simulation is a million times easier then the real thing.

  • Joke?

  • dude you ddin't see the real and the sim

so how do you juge I saw the real and the sim same no diff

only g force and that on sim you can pause

  • Fuck this. The original music on this video was Lunatic Fringe by Red Rider.

  • Hi there Warren, its funny to see how much I've learned since I posted that comment.

I am waiting to see the results of my NROTC application, its at headquarters in Tennessee right now. My interview was great, and everyone seemed to like me and they were all fine people. I wouldn't have gone as far as I did without the help of my regional NROTC coordinator.

I'm majoring in mechanical engineering for my college choices, and I've been accepted everywhere.

Good luck! See you up there bud!

  • good luck, tho you dont need an engineering degree to get selected (AF anyway). Got my slot with a business degree and a GPA of 3.3! If I can do it anyone can

  • howcome the audio is earlier than the video

  • i cant wait until im a fighter pilot, my grandpa was and im going to be

  • how much do u get paid anyone know?

  • In Australia it's average wage. Depending on what type of Pilot i think, but it can be anywhere from 30k to 55k.. I believe you get more if you're ranked well or a higher grade.

But to be a RAAF pilot you have to give up 10 years of your life -_- i'm sure it's worth it. However this wage is on top of everything the RAAF provide such as the education, food, shelter, fitness... so it's worth the minimal wage..

  • 30k to 55k a year?? if thats so i dont thinks its really good...

  • But in perspective... you have no need to spend that money during the time that you're working... whereas a regular job you have rent, food, electricity, gas, water and other bills... and your job is mostly not as fun..

  • fun>all

  • yeah but to most pilots its not about the money and i belive its actually an 11 year term. and its actually $60,000 a year i think and thats just for an airman (pvt).

  • You don't join the military to get rich..you join to serve. If in the process of serving your country you get to fly a 60 million dollar attack aircraft, I'd say that's more than enough.

...And an officer's salary is plenty for the demands of the lifestyle, but if that's what you're looking for, I'd stay away, the needs of the services outweigh yours every time.

  • indeed you join to serve the country. I love being a pilot night flight is priceless looking at the stars... like you fly underneath heaven itself

  • Whats with the hidden message?

    "HUNTERS SKILL SKILL POINTS"

  • wow this is a deadly job i salute every that puts there life for there country.

  • nice video. i want to be a fighter pilot. im in the Philippines, planning to study in the Philippine air force. i want to be a pilot in the US Navy.

  • hi im pilipino too... i have some tips for... if you want to be US navy pilot you must us citizen... i am pilot trainee i was planing to fly one of the f-22 of us airfoce... it was totaly insane... f 22 is deadliest jet foghter in the world... but philippines dont hve even one of them sucks... how you ca be a navy pilot if your not here... you should go here first... pilot is so cool this most exciting job... i love it...

  • lol..no offense dude..but with your english writing and grammar you seem like your making shit up! you dont seem like a citizen! and your saying your in the airforce? USA Airforce you wish ! lmao..sorry but i had to say it man.

  • The Philippine Air Force won't even let him in if that's how his grammar is. I'm from Aus but i'm also from the Philippines and high standards of education is required for almost any job including working in a shopping center.

  • Atreyu is badass!!!

  • I'm starting to think that YouTube should ban stupid background music. It's in almost every video!

  • hope the camera man wasnt hurt in this.

  • Best job of the world!!!

  • Sorry wrong comment below..

  • 2. I want to be an officer in the navy to fly the F-18, thats my goal, whats the best route to go? What things do I take in college? Is there a way for me to complete the requirements to fly and after my prospectice navy career is over I would like to work on jet engines? Is there a good place to get info on the net? Thanks.

  • google airwarriors

  • Same here. My best idea so far was to get in touch with A. Navy fighter pilot then B. A navy recruiter

  • i know you posted tht a while back, but i also wanna be a pilot, just iin the usaf, not the navy. im 14 nd im thinkin bout what i wanna do, and i would also like info. if u do get any, could u plz let me know somehow? tht would be appreciated. ive heard so far tht any1 tht is a pilot, loves it and doesnt wanna quit, or wishes they wouldnt have.

  • ya small world if u want to be a pilot u should go to the air force academy but only one in 50 people who apply make it bt 60 percent of graduates become pilots. u should probably start writing to your congressmen and tell him your interested in the academy and write to him every 3 months until u officially aplly for a nomination. Also u should probably have a 3.8 gpa and need to be prominent in leadership and character, play sportds and volunteer a lot

    see u ter

    class of 2013

  • Look for a book called Military Flight

Aptitude Tests and start reading it: youre only 14 so you have plenty of time. Be sure you are good at school specially at maths and physics. Also try to develop your spatial aptitudes doing exercises like visualizing/rotating 3D elements in your head. Dont forget: being a pilot involves a lot of self-discipline, hard work and absorving lots of knowledge, atributes that you might have already :). (cont.)

  • (cont.)

And as ahlightning said, dont forget the sports: they will keep you physically and mentally fit. Good luck to your future.

  • thanks!

  • i would have to disagree. even though it is hell while you are at one of the academies, the respect you get afterwards is quite rewarding. not to mention if you graduate from Air Force/Naval Academy then you're guaranteed a pilot slot given that you are medically qualified. Don't believe me? Look up John McCain. He was a fighter pilot and graduated 2nd from the BOTTOM of his class at the Naval Academy.

  • Comment removed

  • And what is the reason for them strongly disliking academy grads?

  • it is...... not guaranteed.

  • explain

  • Because it's not like everyone in the Air Force are pilots.

  • i kno. in fact less than 10% are pilots. but what i was saying is that if you come from the academy and you are medically qualified, you are pretty well guaranteed a pilot slot

  • Actually no, the acadamy is great and all but it does not guarantee a slot, however it does help quite a bit =)

  • rotc gave me a slot and i suck!

  • how did you get a slot if you suck????

  • I dont really suck, but im just sayin its not that hard if you really want it

  • I'm thinking of applying for ROTC durring college as well and surving 4 years over the required 6. What's your rank right now?

  • What college are you attending?

  • Oh I'm not in college, sorry if you got that idea. I'm a sophomore in Highschool.

  • That's even better. I wish i would have started in high school instead of college. If you're serious I'd look into JROTC.

  • Yeah that's what I'm checking out. But I'm not too sure.

  • whats the j for? is that a mistake?

  • JROTC stand for Junior Reserved Officer Training Corps. It's for high school students.

  • JROTC? whats that?

  • Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps. It's for high school students who will be going through ROTC.

  • is it in australia???

  • I don't even know if Australia has ROTC so i couldn't tell you anything about JROTC. I'm in the U.S.

  • not exactly, it's a high school elective class that helps prepare cadets for the military but its main purpose is to instill better citzens for america. there is no mandatory service required for doing the class.

    - C/MSgt D. Mel, AFJROTC unit NC-805

  • there is never a guaranteed pilot slot, its much harder than most people think.

  • what about navigator?

  • If your in the ROTC program, there is a pilot and navigator slot guaranteed but you have to meet the minimum scores in the AFOQT for pilot or navigator

  • wait whats rotc and do u have to pay more 4 it??

  • wait can u explain how to becom a navy pilot?

  • the af works w/ the navy.

  • haha i highly doubt that. Purdue < ANY service academy

  • NitroHeadZ28, I'd say we are twins because we share the same dream/goal. The best route is probably the USNA (United States Navy Academy) The NROTC is also a good way to go. In college you want to take alot of math and science. Never Give up and one day ill see you in the sky.

  • nice song

  • Fuck nice atreyu! Atreyu 4 life

  • amen!

  • Is flying an unknown aircraft as easy as driving a new car for experienced fighter pilots?

  • well aside from the instruments possibly being in a different measurement unit and avionics being in a different language, yes the throttle is almost always in the smae place and very easily identified and the control yolk will also be ver similar

  • wtf are you talking about?

  • goblow yourself to heaven, for some falsefied religion created only to make brainwashed losers like yourself.

  • Why don't you go do what your god says you should and go blow yourself up. Then you can get your 72 fatass fugly male virgins!

  • trop fort

  • GOD BLESS U.S.A , RULES 4 EVER !!!

  • the song sounds like "the guns"

  • Atreyu ex's and oh's

  • atreyu ex's and oh's :), gotta respect the soul and committment put into these piolets

  • Kick ass vid. Whos the song by????

  • whats the name of the song!!!

  • I love this video, jet figher pilot is the best! :D

  • cool vid. who is this song by btw?
