Damn. All those records sound so good when compared with todays selection of "loud, louder, loudest & beyond" collection of pop. In the 80's we had the technology to make music sound amazing, but not the technology to ruin it with compression.
I once stored 31 crates of records in 1992 at a friends basement and it rained and all of my creates of records were ruined. Could you imagine that? I salvaged a few records at the time.
I recently dug up a B.A.D. record at my local spot and Mick Jones thanks Cool Hurc in the liner notes. I thought that was really cool. I guess the clash fell in love with New York and all really liked the new rap thing that the kids were into... Love the Clash... Those boys worked hard. What I like to call "at a Beatles pace"
How To Be A Millionair by ABC! I always liked the 12"mix too. Have the same Clash pic sleeve. London Calling, Casbah, Vain, Should I Stay, all classics. Big Audio Dynamite sucked though. Saw them live once and I guess that didn't help much either... The Cult were like hippie goth punks turned hardrock overnight, that arrogant Terence Trent D'Arby became a pornstar after his carreer went downhill and Curiousity Killed The Cat was straight up TOTP material. Endicott was my jam back in the day!
With the exception of Jimmy Davis & Junction(never heard of them) the rest are classics. You should had have more DeBarge though. Terrence Trent D'arby, man what a talent that got screw by the business. Anyway thanks again funktuall. Peace.
Rock the casbah is THE jam. Shouldn't that be in the samples category since will smith used it for Will 2k. Also, do you have the unedited version of inoculated city?
It's great to see your collection, but may I offer you some advice?
You may want to invest in some plastic sleeves for the pic sleeves.I see some of your sleeves are gettin' tattered a bit and some have ring wear.A plastic sleeve and removal of the single from the sleeve will save them from further damage.

"2 pic. sleeves for the same record".
In the case of Peter Cetera's Glory Of Love, one of the versions has red lettering on "PETER CETERA" and another has green lettering.

It was my understanding that TT D'arby screwed himself with his own ego.
