This one seems to run down much more quickly than the 1,2. Simple additional friction? Should be met by additional mass, momentum. Hmmm... higher distribution of energy in the "fingers", exposing motion to friction with a squared term somewhere?
This one seems more likely to spend a given moment with one finger moving very rapidly, generating more friction than a more even distro, right?
To compute this motion is impossible - you can just approximate. To produce this motion it can only God can do it - I have no other explanation in such terribly chaotic system.
first i thought it's a stopwatch animation cause a second row pendulums were loosing energy and in the next swing they were3 swung with a larger amplitude but then i got it:) the others are giving energy when they have more kinetic to increase it's potential.... grrr i lost it i need the equations it is very interesting could you please reply with the equations for the end points of the 3 pendulums

someone should do this in low-gravity

What is the general size of your pendulums? It is difficult to get a sense of scale without any external visual clues. Very cool.

The pendulum frame is about 16" tall.

But you've also got laws of simple oscillation happening which might change things a little.
