@paisley909 The original 1959 Electra was 225 inches long. The name stuck even though the car grew in size to 233.3" for the 1974 - 1976 model year. In 1977 the car was drastically shortened to 222" but kept the 225 name until the 1978 or maybe 1979, but i think was until 1978. .
I just bought a '75 Electra like yours today for 400 bucks. I plan on restoring it with some minor upgrades. I liked my Grandville but I think the Buick will be fun to have too. Gotta love those 455's.

Why is the #225 stand for in the buick's title name? Is that like 225 H.P. 455Ci Engine.

the car is 1975 but there are some parts on it from 1976! so I know about the front :)
