lol. . I was in buena park, where the red blob is towards the last 1.5min of vid. I was very excited when i spotted a hook echo off the coast, just prior to the warning. We had alot of lightning, both outflow and inflow winds of 50mph+, but no tornado here or in LA. Further south, both Huntington Beach and San diego county encountered weak tornadoes and water spouts.
@billy5853 Yep, a tornado did tocuh did in huntington beach, but are tornados are weak tornados are what you'd call weak tornados, but still able to cause some damage here.
try living in North TX, we get more tornadoes since we are in Tornado Alley. Ft. Worth had a F3 hit downtown 10 years ago. word of advice, when a Tornado hits you, better be prepared, if you live in a trailer home, get the fuck out of there, if in a House with a basement or underground shelter (knowing the SoCal area, there may not be any anywhere.) or go find the nearest ditch and duck under, if in a car, get in a ditch. never get under a bridge if near a bridge.
correction, if in a house, go to the basement, or underground shelter if there's any or got to the bathroom with pillows and cover up and brace for Impact. and if the weather is gonna be bad, always have an NOAA Weather Radio ready and in alert mode.
@yeredsdashiznit uh....yes there has. They are not rare for Cali, and actually the LA area has more than any other area in CA. Btw this is based on NOAA...scientific facts
And while they get tornadoes in Southern California, the East Coast gets earthquakes of 5.8 on the Richter Scale!
