  • Nice playing. How does that guitar compare to the Gibson 175?

  • nice playing .. smooth as i like it.. greetings from portugal

  • More music from YAHN at my homepage. (yahn . no)

  • Great playing and excellent sound! What more could we ask for?

  • how is the action on this guitar?

  • Excellent playing, tone and technique. I just ordered the Epi 175....Are you playing with a wood bridge or tuneOmatic? Also, what are you using for FX and amp? thanks alot....Matt

  • Tanx for that. I play with wood bridge, yes. In this take i use NI guitar Rig, amp is a simulated Roland Jazz chorus. Yahn

  • nice sound and nice guitar, I wish they sold them in red.

and nice tone as you've not changed the p-ups

  • Well Congrats - this is one of the few covers of "Maiden Voyage" on You Tube which actually does the tune justice!

    Thanks

  • Thanks for that!

  • Well I bought the guitar. the previous owner put seth lover pups in and she sounds great. You can hear in on my page.

  • Very good and great tone. What guage of strings do you use? Thanks

  • Daddario Chromes 011 Jazz light gauge. ;.)

  • @YAHNSagadammen I use 12's. love them both!

  • Great playing! I've been perusing YouTube for Video's on the EPI ES 175, and this one is perfect. It gives me a great idea of the tonal characteristics of the guitar. I'm thinking of ordering one from Guitar Center today. I want to get to that Pat Metheny mid-late 70's sound, and this would be a great addition my collection (I also have a Gibson ES 135). Thanks for the great video.

  • The set up for this video sound was ES-175 (no change of pick ups) recorded through a TC Konnekt audio interface and NI Guitar Rig 3 emulating a Roland Jazz chorus with added reverb and a little delay.

  • thank you. You play beautifully and i hope to hear lots more from you and this great instrument. I´ll bet you very happy with the sound.

  • can you tell me your set up etc, have you changed the pick ups ? how was the sound recorded for this video , thanks any help will do , i´m seriously considering buying this guitar.

  • Thank you john. Yes it is a beautiful guitar and I think is as good as the orginal Gibson, at a fraction of the price.

  • I too have an epi 175.

  • Thanx for that!

  • good 1
