correct me if I´m wrong, but it sounds like these are no real instruments, just loops where the melody is already there? If not where can you change the scales and notes like you want? can you put these samples in e.g piano roll of fl?I jope so, loops are for retards
I bought this in 2007, It's not easy to use, the sound is not greatest, and there's no many instruments as stated. If own something like Logic Pro, you don't need Kontakt. The new Version 4 sounds amazing in the site, but I only recommend if you are not a Logic Pro user.
The Kontact player is impossible. Just getting to load the sample into the player takes days. Time may people do not have. I love this thing, & itching to use it, but it is frustrating just to get the libraries to load! Ridiculous!
the product name is KONTAKT, spelled that way by the makers Native Instruments - they use a K in all their product names rather than C, so if we spelt it differently no-one would find the video in a search.
battery only does a small portion of what kontakt does.
in other words, buy kontakt, but, battery has pretty good drum libraries you wouldn't wanna miss out on. but, you can always load the battery sample banks directly into kontakt.
Kontakt offers more sounds than Battery does. Altough they are both powerful samplers in there own way and offer a huge collection of sounds and are worth every penny!

I think you need a "Kontakt Player" just like for Kore, for Kore you need "Kore Player" for use it as VST
