it did clock at 180-200 Km/h. however, this is only on the dials, which are usually calibrated to show speeds 10% higher than the real speed. so I guess a 200 Km/h readout is actually "just" 180 Km/h or so.
I also hade the zx 1.4, and max. speed is really 200 km / h in the straight road. even a Citroen repairer guy could not believe it. he asked me twice if this is really 1.4
If that is true, my zx must have been broken. After 150km/h the acceleration literally died (both in 4th and 5th gear). Did you try 0-100 km/h? Mine one took about 13,5 sec.

Hai un cesso di macchina! a quella velocità sei anche un pericolo, perchè puo' benissimo staccarsi un pezzo dalla carrozza e ferire chi di sta dietro, oltre al fatto che queste 1.4 non montano degli pneumatici adatti ai 200km/h! La potenza di una macchina, e quindi il vigore del motore si stabilisce con il tempo impiegato a toccare tale velocità, coglione!
This is standart Citroen ZX 1.4i, but makes 200km/h easy, and keep it. This movie is part of 240km road trip with average speed of 120km/h (2h.). On the first part road (~140km) have only two tracks and the speed limit is 60km/h-90km/h. The BMW is 320d (150hp), and can't run away from me, on highway i came first with ~205km/h for 10 min and run far away ahead of him.

Of course it is real! I had a ZX 1.4 avantage till 4 monts ago that i crashed it and it did 200-205 on the speedometer.. Maybe 180+ actual...

Video is not fake, i still drive this car. Before one week i get a GPS - at 120km/h speedometer is exactly the same like speed in GPS.

I believe so too. There's no way this is the stock though. 1.4i top speed is 160 or something like it.
