Beautiful song! Although I am not an uploader, I still wanted to comment on your question. I initially began watching videos on YouTube simply as something to do, but now I watch because I am excited to see the new videos/content that's uploaded by my subscriptions! It's interesting to see the different individuals from all countries and walks-of-life that are on YouTube. It has become a really great forum for uniting people.

I do it because I want to share bits and pieces of my interests with others...as dull as they may be :) I also think its great that you are on youtube. Internet and community should not have an age limit and people should not feel that they are too old or too young to say something. I hope more of your friends follow in your foot steps.
I do it because of the community.. I realise that the community aspect of youtube has been disappearing recently in favour of the commercial side, but I have met so many good people via youtube that I am not going to give up.

I make videos because I like sharing my interests and I watch videos to give other people an audience. It used to be, for most of us, that we would work hours on a skit, hobby or project and only have our parents/children/siblings and friends to share it with. Now YouTube lets us share with people around the world who have similar interests.

I love taking different views of people, on basically everything. For example, politics. I remember back in 2008 the media was shoving propoganda about obama's greatness down our throats while people on the internet said he would do nothing if he was president. I guess I can see that mainstream media is bought by big corporations, therefore the view of a regular person who is educated about the situation is far more valid. But politics is just an example, I do it on other matters as well.
@sf49ersrule Actually he's done a lot for America and America's relationship with other countries. Take a look at the website whattheheckhasobamadonesofar (.com) and you'll see all the bills he's passed and measures. But that's besides the point of the original video I guess.
@estellio That website says Obama increased gay-ness tolerance, which is terrible. Also, it said he gave away free money to private sector space flight programs. So he stole my money to give it to big-money tycoons that have so much money they can start off private space flight programs. Also says he appointed the nations first chief technology officer-- A Science Czar. Obama sure does a lot of negative things for America, and I do wonder what terrible thing he will do to us next. :-(

It's a hobby. Like you I'm leaving something for the future. Grandkids to see that I got in front of the camera, spoke my mind. There's hours of me, hundreds of vids. Have not received a single penny for it. I am motivated by ideas. I also will make a DVD some day. You are one of my inspirations too. Keep on good friend !
I do it to enjoy the thoughts, opinions and creative ideas of others. People have a lot of great things to say and are very clever and have worthwhile opinions. I make videos to share my own opinions, thoughts, ideas and to entertain others. If we look at most videos, we can see that people love to do it, because people love them for it. They make new friends, open their eyes to new ideas. It's an outlet to have your say and to be creative too.
