Contemporary Philosophy of Mind: Dualism and Materialism

The mind/body problem is due to anchoring by the mind. We like to have a starting/reference

point then refer other things to it. Physicalism starts with material which generates a mind and

theism starts with a mind that generates the physical. Mind and matter are different aspects

of one entity. We call our outer experience material and our inner experience mind where mind

and matter do not "interact" because they are simply different perceptions of the same entity.
