Yes it is. Quite awesome really. Wolverine do kill his enemy in the anime. I've just finished the series yesterday.. hopefully there will be more. The giant you've seen makes an appearance near the end part. Dont really want to spoil the fun for you. Just be open minded that japanese animators presented wolverine based on how they see him.. and he is called Logan (which is understandable, that is his real name)
