@juztanotherday2 if your going off the STOCK tach, take it too 6,000 on the tach and see how the car acts. If your shifting at 5200 on the stock tach, you are probably shifting around 4800 at the motor. Stock tach's are junk.
70-75 shot is good for testing, and your turning good times out of it, even with the short shifting.
What I did was I got a $40 summit racing shift light, and installed it. I have my shift light set at 5,900rpm, which means I shift around 6000-6100.
@Xarmy187 but that is where my cam tops out, around 5700, the extra rpms from 5700-6100 where I shift is because of the DROP back when you shift, where the RPMS drop too.
by me shifting at 6100 instead of 5700 where my power tops out, I actually am FASTER, because my where my RPM's start in the next gear.
@Xarmy187 i took your advice, i have autometer tach and shift light directly in my msd box, but i revved it to 5500 and ended up running a 11.55 with a 1.52 60ft on the juice.
nice bro, really liked it, and im gonna take this guys advice too, it might help me too,
