Someone told me today that on Obama's birth certificate it says he's white. I don't know if that's true, but it probably is, since his mother is white. So technically... he ISN'T the first African American president of the United States.

Someone told me today that on Obama's birth certificate it says he's white. I don't know if that's true, but it probably is, since his mother is white. So technically... he ISN'T the first African American president of the United States.
It also kinda sucks now for those people who voted for him because he's black.. when he isn't actually black.

He's only half black, but voting for someone based on race is stupid. Reason being, they may be black, white, asian, mexican, or whatever Terminator is, but race does not equal the ability to lead a country. What matters is not the color of your skin, but if you can or can not lead. Also take into account the other guy and if he is able to lead any better, in your best judgement. So voting for someone based on race is retarded.

I didn't call him a racist, nor did anyone else. The main reason that people are voting for Obama is because he is intelligent, eloquent, and ambitious. I've only met two or three people who support Barack primarily due to his blackness. Being black will be more of a hindrance than an advantage, anyway. The fact that he can run an HONEST campaign, his strong policies, and his incredible ability to rally people. Unlike the other candidates, Barack was actually able to use the internet effectively. His campaign is also the first to run entirely on donations, rather than funded by lobbyists. Obama also won the european vote, which consisted of Germany, Russia, England, France, and Italy. THAT is what makes him competent.

Rather than confronting Obama on issues, McCain hides behind a wall of attack ads. Even Karl Rove thinks McCain is going too far. KARL ROVE. And really, does being Americans mean that we should just say "screw the opinions of every other major country"? If the majority of them would vote for Obama if given the opportunity, that means something.

In the three years he spent as director of the DCP, it's budget more than quadrupled. It's not like that's the only thing he's ever accomplished, anyway. He is an accomplished writer, graduated from Columbia, became the president of the Law Review, taught constitutional law for 12 years, AND beat every other candidate running for the democrats.
