  • damn i feel bad for that young doe at the end

  • Man this is a great video. We hunt in illinois and watching all those deer makes it look like a great place to hunt. That place you hunt looks like our four hundred acre place. Great flim.

  • Did u put the deer down after?

  • 4:38 the GAy buck

  • 2:57 BUSTED!!

  • Hey guys check out ShedHead Outdoors and follow our webshow you won't wanna miss the next months show!

  • Ha ha ha that buck is tiny! Come to Alberta!

  • 8:30 you sound like a muppet.

  • 4:46, were those two bucks friends?

  • @headdownharris no. just a part of bachelor group. once the rut starts they are enemies.

  • You made the right call. 53 yards was probaby too far.

  • Nice buck. That's what makes you sit in a tree for hours in the freezing cold. For just 1 chance at a buck like that. Great video. Check mine out some time.

  • you guys are Serbian right

  • @niggahigganum2 No. We are Bosnian.

  • @McLarenDriver Ohh sorry. Im Albanian

  • Great video man!!! Very cool..

  • You're callin' wrong, man. Great video and deer, though.

  • @sweetlikeADAM What should I change about my calling? Any tips....

  • @McLarenDriver i would have used a bleat call

  • @McLarenDriver when you are calling for the deer remember, these aren't just sounds to throw out there, they are communicating to each other; tending grunts, doe bleats, dominance/challenging grunts are all ways they talk to each other and when you make the calls you should be trying to "talk" to the bucks. the same can be said of any calling technique, turkey, rabbit in distress, fawn cry, etc. make them sound realistic and the critters will come running.

  • wow what a great piece of land. awesome footage! Iowa... what a great whitetail state!

  • All these people ranting about killing deer crack me up, they have no idea that hunting organizations are the biggest contributer to preserving wildlife habitat and protecting species from eradication.

  • You don't like if we hunt them, you don't like if we save them.

Here's little passage from a book I like to call life:

And the God said to him: Go hug some trees and read about food chain. And he was gone. The life was good then.

  • The young yearling wound is what your people do and the worst kind of sports killing is with a bow and arrow and the phonies showing the wounded yearling pretending they" care" yet they would let another yearling "lay up and die" as she/he drown in their own blood. That is what the sports wildlife terrorism industry supports, that is "sportsman' for ya. No different then serial killers of human you bunch of SICK MONSTER. I HOPE ALL OF YOU WILL IN DUE TIME SEE HELL!

  • By The Shedding Of Blood Of Others Is No Remission Of Sins. 6. And what doth the Eternal command you but to do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with your God? Is it not written that in the beginning God ordained the fruits of the trees and the seeds and the herbs to be food for all flesh?

    8. But I say unto you: Shed no innocent blood nor eat ye flesh. Walk uprightly, love mercy, and do justly, and your days shall be long in the land. Lection 33

  • @Mercy4Wildlife Please explain exactly what Lection 33 is? I did a little looking and it seems like you are trying to show that the Bible teaches against the killing of animals... is that correct? Although the "hope you all see hell" comment makes it seem like you aren't coming from a Christian perspective. Each is intitled to their own belief, I'm just confused as to what you are using for your standard of belief. Please explain. Thanks

  • Thank you for your comment kDOT. Where exactly did you and your grandpa hunt deer with .22 cal rifle? It is pretty amazing for a .22 cal bullet to have enough energy to penetrate 2 deer and kill them. I wish you had that on video :(

  • aww...well, its nice to know they atleast care about the already injured ones :). one time me and my grandpa were out hunting, with his 22 and he got 2 deer with one shot. right though the head. well..now that im traumatized for life. i doubt i'll help cut up the cow :/

  • No I don't. I am a big fan of McLaren Mercedes Formula 1 racing and that's why the name. I have a Merc though. Thank you for your comments.

Wild how he turned after you let off and then you drew again...LOL...thats hunting for yah :D

Poor lil Doe at the end...what ended up happening with it?

    5/5

  • we left her there. next day she was gone... some tough luck...

  • @McLarenDriver

You just left her there to suffer, huh? That's really great.

I have a very real gut instinct that karma will catch up to you. I needn't debate that, I'll be proven correct.

When you're in the throes of pain and agony from a grievous injury, you'll recall my words, and you'll recall the animals you've caused to suffer.

    Wait and see...

  • thanx man. will try next year.

  • You should use a decoy. We have doubled are success with them. Just my $0.02 Nice buck also

  • great vidio ... ill be posting some of my own vidio's here in 2010.

  • I live right in the middle of prime buck country in Monroe County Iowa where the Lovestein buck was shot and i had shot at a 170+ buck and it had went right under the boiler room

  • Been there. Happened to me in 2005. 11 pt buck. I could not get the shot W/my bow. My 12 yr old son took him the next day with a shotgun during the first 2 hours of his hunting career. Just gotta laugh!!!!!

  • Hunting can be cruel sometimes, hehe. I've been there. Good luck the rest of the season.

  • man, this is killin me, I didn't see anything this season except a small doe that was running away!!!!!!!

  • They are everywhere. Iowa is a great place to hunt whitetails.

  • i live near muscatine iowa and ive seen a lot of nice bucks too

  • Thanks. I have seen many more bucks in the area. Also, 75% of all fawns I saw were bucks. It's looking good for next couple of years. Good luck out there.

  • Nice video, these bucks will be really nice in a year or two!
