Yeah...sp1epiphany is right...the reason people turn traction control off is because of the way it works. No, you dont want to spin...but you also dont want some safty feature slowing you down in a race...
I finally got to drive one of these the other day, and I must say I'm surprised. I expected it to really have a lot of power, but even with me nearly redlining it I couldn't make the back end break loose. I drove a 94 Camaro Z28 that was stock and it was even an auto and when I stomped it, the back end fishtailed on me shifting into second.
hmmm u must of left the traction control on! svt built it like that for that specific reason. next time turn the switch off (light orange) then do it! you'll be sidewayz all day! TRUST ME

The traction control button on the majority of the vehicles retards the fuel to keep you from spinning therefore slowing you down.
