  • hi mr. g i have watched all your epasodes before and this was the newest one i have saw in a longe time the other ones were from a long time ago glad your back

  • good

  • hey Mr. g are you married

  • OMG< i tried it and it worked. my mom loved it

  • Hey Mr.G i thought u were married cause in the last episode you said that that girl was your daughter??? plz reply

  • @MapleStorylova12345

The formula for procreation does not include marriage as a variable.

    Thanks,

    -- Mr. G

  • @Mindpaint so either u had... it... when you werent married or u adopted.

  • You have THE BEST shirts mr. G!

  • hey mr G. like randomliam95 said if u touch the bubble what would happen cus if its floting on the steam will the actual drop raise in tempuratur or stay the same sence its not touching the actual pan?

  • i did it and it works and after that have your sink filled up with ice and water and drop it in.

  • Time to go and try this haha

  • that works on a bbq

  • why the glasses?

  • I swear, you look a lot like Gordon Freeman ._o

    wait a minute... MR. G?

  • are you a science teacher?

  • the pan got cooler cuz of the water

  • I thought the little water drops were bugs

  • but... whats your real name?

  • mr.g how old are you?

  • i would hate to be in that solar system

  • awesome

  • hey, I have got 3 questions.

    1. will this work with a non stick pan?

    2. what would happen if you touch the big drop

    3. how big could you make the bubble?

  • @randomliam95 Yes it should work. I don't know, but you might get burned! The size of the bubble depends on the pan material. The bubble I made is fairly large.

    Thanks,

    -- Mr. G

  • Mr. G, how are you so awesome?

  • I think your show is super. Truly, its really good.

Why are you trying to impersonate Rolf Harris? Not that he isn't a cool guy.

  • Hey Mr.G! I tried this with my dad and we didn't have a small dropper so we used a turkey baster... it hit the sides of the pan and the water flew in the air. it was awesome. and when i turned the heat off the bubble got smaller, smaller and until it was a black speck. Do you have any idea what that could be?

  • nices cikhin lol

  • Hey Mr. G! I'm a big fan of your videos and would love to talk science with someone with the same interests. could you and me maybe swap ideas?

  • @TheSilentShowTV ahahaha! your so retarded!

  • @shaddowstorm SHUT THE FUCK UP OR OR ILL DO IT FOR YOU

  • Mr, G what do you do for a living?

  • hey mr.g r u married?

  • @SupraNirvana No, I'm not. Thanks for the question!

    -- Mr. G

  • look at all those small balls ;) Now we have one large ball forming, haha. They attract to eachother, that one large ball of water is alot of fun there!

  • dude you look a lot thinner

  • aw yes the leiden frost effect

  • I love your show! This reminds me Popular Mechanics for Kids in the 90s.

  • lol that is sooooo right

  • Bill Nye meets Alton Brown...

  • i did that by accident before just flashing water off my hands

  • what would happen if you put a whole bunch of water at once? would you recomend me do that?

  • @LedZeppelinForever13 it would immediately lower the temperature of the metal and eventually boil. its water. in a pot. on heat. simple cooking

  • WOah. Cool.

  • love yu dude i am from britan i skate watch my videos

peterhead type that into google maps and thats wheree i live

  • btw, that's pretty bad for normal cookware xD

  • oh you said lolol okay thanks xD

  • whats the range on that infared thing, cus i can heat things much hotter than 4 digits and i need to measure it :)

  • lol i love the very end so randomly funny...not sure whats funny about it but it is

  • if u dont like youtubes new layout sub to me

  • did this in food tech by accident a few years ago whilst melting chocolate. Didnt really think much of it until now

  • Omg do you belive everything u see?

  • Mr. G is awesome as ever, YouTube's new layout isn't.

  • So Cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i like how youre dawing around 20A of constant current just to make a few drop of water float on their own vapors lol

  • reminds me of the game Osmos

But yeah I've always asked myself why was it doing that. I still think it's awesome when I cook and do that :P

  • Cool

  • that was probably my favorite video so far. that was awesome

  • I got one of those thermos from a hobby shop

  • he looks mad in his bloopers at first

  • Good job as always Mr. G.

  • Im defo gona try this at home! i saw the mobius episode too :P epic work mr G. keep it up

  • keep up the good work!

  • I found this out by accident in a chinese resturant and I put a cube of ice on the stove that was still hot(they cook in front of yoyou) and this happened.I just didn't know why and thought it was because I threw the water on to the stove

  • @thebeast660 hibatchi grill

  • i got that exect same thermometer

  • yes i do!

    great show,like the outtakes too.

  • Fisrt! :) haha

  • ty for the tips

  • Awsome.

  • WHOA! Mr. G, I can tell that you have lost some serious weight! Good job bud! And great video!

  • Mr. G is lookin sharp

  • Looks like you have lost alot of weight...

  • Hey mindpaint. I noticed this some years ago in school :D But its still very cool.

But, where can i buy a thermometer like that?

    Thanks :)

  • some semi truck drivers have them.

they use them to make sure their tires arn't overheating on them, im not quite sure where you get them but you may want to talk to someone that would have one

  • you have lost weight ;P

  • mythbusters did a segment on this effect where they first dipped their fingers in water, then they could safely dip their fingers in 900 degree molten lead. their fingers where protected by the "invisible shield of water vapor" surrounding their fingers. pretty cool stuff

  • Very Cool, G

  • you loss wait

  • fake but funny

  • @nelmsy7 its not fake lol... mr g isnt anything to o with fake...

  • Hey Mr.G you lost weight didnt you? you look good ad thanks for bringing back Do try this at home its my favorite along with 30 seconds with Mr. G

  • I think it's the same affect that allows people to put their fingers in molten iron.

  • Ive done that before. you can also pick up the pan (with mits) and attempt to poor the water out and it'll evaporate instantly

  • LOL! I LOVE the bloopers at the end! Thanks Mr. G.!!! We actually learned something new today about the, "Leidenfrost Effect"! XOXOX

  • if im higher above sea leval will it take more or less heat?

  • what happens if you pour a mug full of water?

  • how did you lose all that weight

  • mate you are just dead set shedding the pounds off...looking healthy mate.

  • now put your finger on the pan and see if it floats :)

  • oh hi thermometer... XD

  • You remind me of Bill Nye the science guy. But compare to him, I think you're much cooler. :D

  • it seems the bubbles follow the big one, doesn't it??

  • @Surfister yea, as he said in the video, they are trying to group together

  • why do you always put a picture at the end?

  • You should have a quote contest for the coffee cat at the end! Great video!

  • mythbusters did this they did molten lead if i remember right

  • definitely a 5/5. your shows are awesome

  • the big one looks like "Flubber" ;D great work MrG^^ 5* from Kevin

  • shit, u lost alot of weight

  • ive seen it but stil so fun to watch 5/5

  • ahhh duuuuude ha ha ha ha ha ha thats trippy as fuck ha

  • You look like Gordon Freeman

  • water droplets are Mr. G porn

  • Mr G is the mannnnnn....

  • will warm water change its effects? pretty cool mr g!

  • I don't think the water droplets are attracting each other.

its just that they all go towards the same place.

  • @yujinwu they actually do. water molecules tend to hold themselves together. a form of weak attraction. thats why you can get the water level of a cup slightly over the top and still not spill. because the water molecules hold themselves together :)

  • @loserofnothing

Mr G said they are "gravitating". Not holding together. Both of us know water molecules don't "Gravitate".

  • I think that thermometer's faulty. The first time you measured the surface, it measured 152.5. Then you dropped water into the pan and the water immediately boiled, placing the surface temperature at 212 or above.

  • i got a fluke 1AC IR Thermometer it just has a laser that u point at an object and its accurate it goes up to 932 degrees but its nice to have if u do a lot of experiments and it gives a consent reading of the temp

  • hah thats cool

  • wtf cat

  • Very good!!

  • Thanks for taking the time out of your day to think up these ideas and make your video's. They are badass and easy for anyone to follow.

  • Eh the leidenfrost effect isn't that amazing, that's why dry ice doesn't every drag on a surface

  • cool glasses

  • you are still pretty fat

  • @gazzaka

he loves to play with fire

  • @gazzaka

    GJ captain obvious sir

  • @gazzaka I bet your a fatass

  • Dude...quit dissin this dude...hes better than anything you'll ever be

  • @gazzaka I know, and I still have 20 lbs to lose. I'm trying to do it before June 1. Thanks for noticing.

    -- Mr. G

  • @Mindpaint You're awesome! Even though you are slightly overweight, I love the way you make videos and spread your knowledge/experience all over youtube!

  • what the fuck does weight have to do with this?

  • @Mindpaint good luck

  • @gazzaka that was mean just kuz mr g is a lil heavier than normal dont mean u shood point it out

  • The glasses look good on you.

  • that was sooo awesome, id say for people trying this, if you don't wanna ruin your pan, let it slowly cool down . don't drench it in the sink. that will warp it.

  • One day when i am older and have kids i'm going to do all your experiments with them :) keep up the good work sir!

  • Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I'm curious Mr. G, I guess I could attept to try doing this myself, but , what would happen if you colored the water with food coloring prior? would it just burn?

  • he looks alot different

  • Haha. "Oh Hi thermometer how are you?" Haha. Mr. G. These videos are so awesome.

  • very good i enjoy this

  • thats tight

  • You can even put your hand in liquid nitrogen for a bit and still be fine.

  • hey mr. g lookin good! haha u lost wait!!!

  • THAT WAS AMAZING! I will be trying this without a doubt!

  • you look like bre pettis at age 45

  • Ha, I accidentally learned that once after forgetting to off off the heat after making eggs. It was cool until one drop shot up.

  • put your hand in molten lead, like jearl!

  • my god, what witchcraft is this?! D:

  • i hope you were kidding about doing that all day, this shit would get boring after 2 mins

  • Gay song

  • Okay, now I know why, I feel much better. I'll try this right now! XD

  • Wow, one of your best Videos imo.

  • The thermometer works better if you put it in max temp mode and hold down the button for a second or two.

  • but how, why doesn't it evaporate if it's too hot? why does a layer of vapor form between the waterdrop and the pan? TOO MUCH SCIENCE FOR MY BRAIN, now I'll have to go to wikipedia to investigate because that's my nature.

  • LOL kitty in vid :3

  • o deer ur losing alot of weight!!!

congratz!!!! u look alot more fit and healthy!

  • thats neat

  • I learn somthing every day.

  • I wanted you to keep adding more to see how big you could get it lol

  • lol

  • pose for that camra mr. G

  • @shmow12 ahahahaha

  • awesome mr g keep it up i try every single experiment you do and they all work thanks for all the fun experiments

  • MR G is AWESOME

  • yea i noticed this once when i was cooking noodles and some water got out the pan and started floating on the range i was amazedd then mom yelled at me.

  • WOAHH. HOW DID YOU GET SO SKINNY?!?!
