Torley would you know how to record a stereo mix and a usb head set at same time? My microphone an stereo mix are both unmuted an enabled on my sound card. But it doesn't help me because my USB headset is a different device an not connected to my sound card. So I was wondering if you knew of some application that can grab stereo mix audio from my sound card while recording over a Logitech ClearChat USB super aural Headset.
Hi. Thanks for the video. I want to make youtube videos, from my voice recordings that I have, and have an avatar to lip sync for me so I don't have to video tape with myself in the vid.
So, maybe you can help; do you know a program I can download for the specific purpose of making videos from voice recordings (not necessarily second life)?
Just what I needed! But I remembered while watching this that for Windows XP users, you can open up the Start Menu > Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices > Advanced (Speaker Options). If you place that on Desktop Stereo Speakers, you can then go back to the Start Menu.
When you do that, select Run and type in "sndrec32" and a little recorder will open up. Go to Edit > Audio Properties > Advanced (Sound Playback) and set it to Desktop Stereo Speakers. Hit record, it'll record what you hear!
Oh, there is a catch I didn't mention. You can only record in up to 60-second increments. When time's up, you gotta save it somewhere and start again. But it's good for snippets and stuff.
ok now what if you don't have say wave blaster or realtek. i have sound max which is intergrated into my pc. how can i configure it to record my voice chat if it has no "special" drivers to record the stereo mix and microphone?
Secondly... I'd love to see a tutorial about compression and WAV encoding. Specifically for formatting WAV files for importing them to Second Life... I can never seem to get the proper format for importing!!! D:

For some reason the yellow color of that dot bothers me. :/ Could it be pink? Or blue?
