thats the only thing sucky about electric stoves, they suck when they come to woks due to the fact they don't get hot enough fast enough. Thou its not that to much americannized thou, you still kept a lot of the core ingredients.
@Teddywolf I cook asian food on a electric stove/induction at times. But I agree, woks on electric stoves are bad, i'd rather use a regular frying pan. Preferably cast iron, because it heats the whole surface of the pan and retains heat better.
Nice work, we liked your video very much so we embedded it on ChefCommons . com w/ link back and reference to Youtube. (Let us know if you don't wish for it to be featured)
this is fucking ridiculous. i am 100% thai and my parents own a thai restaurant, and this is NOT how you make phad thai. you dont even use fish sauce, soy sauce or anythign of that crap!!
what is ridiculous is, in your culturally snobby reaction (which is so so typical on youtube), you overlooked the fact that he said "this is an AMERICANIZED version". that's called a DISCLAIMER so he doesn't get stupid-ass comments from touchy people like you.
now im hungry, thx a lot, that looks really good but how come u didn't put tofu or pad-thai sauce,i would say bean sprouts but u mentioned u didn't have them.......that looks like it's very sweet since u added 2tbsp of sugar,is it?seriously, looks great.........
