PS.: My song SAILBOAT should be something for them to sing?????

  • Just seen these guys on the BBC, with the record deal, spottted them a little while ago cos me and my fiance love listening to shanty type songs, since we saw a band at the mathew street festival in Liverpool while we were dating, I think I'll be buying their CD!

  • I'm fifteen and I've seen them every year without fail for fifteen years. The best shanty singers of Cornwall!

  • haha same every year 15 years

  • Nice one...

  • Kanaka, was the common seamans name for guys from the Pacific Islands, specificly the Sandwich Islands, or as we know it of course Hawaii. Richard Henry Dana's book has some good stories about the Kanaka's

  • "Kanaka" literally means "man" in Hawaiian.

  • I didn't know that, thanks. I just went by what Dana said in his book. Cheers !!

  • Nice song ^^
