@orion7763 Yeah I always wonder that too. He shall be missed. He is my hero, like how do you come up and accualy(sorry forgot how to spell) build a theme park. Yes i know how he did think of that. He was sitting on a park bench and his daughter was having fun. He thought what about a place where parents and kids can have fun together.

Walt Disney passed away on December 15, 1966

ummm, Disney had a lung removed Nov 7 1966,and was in hospital for two weeks following, and died shortly after.I don't see how he could have flew to Forida for this event, the dates must be wrong

Just as I thought.This press conf was held in 1965,Nov 15, you'd think this station would have the correct historical date.

To think that Walt Disney would have passed away just one month after holding that conference. I wonder how Disney World would have been different if Walt Disney had actually been there to see it through.

It too bad that Walt Disney has pass way, he remind me of a hero to me, i think he's a great cartoon artist ever, i have learn about him since 2005 back then and today so i want to know why he pass away, may will rest and peace and god will be with you Walt.
