:L too true. My boyfriend did that a few weeks ago and the end of the drumstick went flying and had hit him on the head. When he pitched up at mine later that day he had a clean-snapped drumstick and a bruise on the side of his head! It was funny, but diddums... he now has to use a pair of drumsticks from an old RockBand PS2 Drum Kit and he has to play so lightly it's ruining his performance. He can't afford new drumsticks until, most likely, Xmas.
