  • Music is the first place that crossed the color bar in this great nation. The blues came from the inner soul of persecution & hatred, and blossomed into an art form for the masses. The blues doesn't belong to anybody, but belongs to EVERYBODY. The horrible , narrow-minded statement made by the earlier post has no room in the blues. It's time we ALL make music. TOGETHER .

  • @casu3 - Wow, my man !. What a hateful, bigoted post. This is nothing like watching a 13 year white kid singing gangsta' rap. I'm so glad people like James Harman are keeping this music alive. James Harman and his band PLAY THEIR ASSES off and they respect the music and the masters who came before them. I bet Buddy Guy would tell you so. You are just trippin' for the sake of trippin', Looks like you're doin' all you can to keep racism and ignorance alive.

  • @cs868 -I couldn't agree with you more.Good music is good music period and anyone who can't appreciate an incredible cat like James Harman and stoops to racist garbage doesn't know the first thing about music and it's clear he has a serious mental problem.

  • King James at work !

  • yeeeeeeeaaaahhhhh!!!!

  • buddy guys legends has become a honky stupid version of theresas loungue what a shame this honkys got no timing fuck dat you guys ruined everything for real niggers get your own music and your own culture this is like watchin a 13 year old white kid singing gansta rap you just dont believed fuck dat

  • @casu3 Yeah except BLUES came out of country pickers, plus MUDDY hired Paul Osher in the 60's. Hate is now way to live.

  • Cool! So cool!!! This is cool!!!

  • Maybe the best tone/articulation of any living harp player. How many notes can he wring from that thing? And he rarely goes above the six. People don't get how much technique is required to play serious harp. but james has got the soul to go with it.

  • Robbie and Joe were my introduction to The Harman Band. Love this crew the most!

  • anyone know what key his playing

  • old post I know but the song is in E, harp is an A harp, 2nd position

  • james has got killer tone! fat as hell! he's definitely one of my favs!

  • Harman was jamming his butt off on this one. Great Sound Quality for the Vid too!!!

  • The Best band there is. Mrkim422

  • James Harman can get busy with the rest of them.He rarely if ever overplays.Always beautifully constructed perfect solos.Good sound on this one thanks for posting!

  • James Harman says this song is entitled

"Cornbred" and he has no idea what River Valley means.

  • Do you know who Joe Leon is playing with these days?

    Robbie too?

    Thanks.

  • Hi dunskie. I think Robbie is on one of Jamie Wood's cd's. The 'Flyin High' album from 2001. That's the last I heard of him. A great album by the way.

  • Thanks.

  • Do it Robbie do it
