As a pathfinder/jumper capper, as much as I hate to admit it, that was freaking awesome. I think Hi-Rez needs to step up the game especially for the jumper if anything's going to compete with this.
I don't think there's another class that could even chase a Scrambler capper at the moment and given the relatively long route setup times, even another Scrambler would have a hard time of it.
@EWKrinkel all of these routes can be done with pathfinder, ranger, and soldier as well, though they may require minor tweaks. the scrambler is simply the most fun and most effective capper currently so I chose it to do these routes.
@EWKrinkel As awesome as they are, they seem (to me) a little imbalanced. The blast radius is huge, you receive almost no damage, and the scrambler is basically invisible when they come in for the grab.
I noticed that you let go of the ski button when you are just flying in the air, is this any different from holding the ski button while flying or is this just a preference thing?
Nice. Love your routes... always learn a few new ones. Is that the extended reach perk you're using? You're dropping in high above the flag on those side routes.
i notice your routes take quite the long way. dont you get tired of people grabbing the flag constantly while you are on your way? i tried to make some vids for arx and bella but 9/10 times the flag gets grabbed while you are setting up your route. really encourages just hanging around the closest steepest hill and propelling yourself from there. hope they find a way too encourage routelike gameplay
@churde There is simply no easy way to counter llamas in a pub. These routes are meant for organized play where you simply shouldn't be competing with your own team for grabs. Also, for the video I did these routes in training mode because I simply don't have a powerful enough computer to fraps with any other players in the game. Even alone I barely get 20-25 fps most of the time. Maps like drydock it will drop to 10 fps fairly regularly.
Brilliant video, love the choice of music.

Unfortunately, Bart said the scrambler nades will be getting a nerf soon and some of these routes might no longer be effective =(
