Buddhism rejects the existence of an almighty god. It is clear. This person is not suitable to compare religions since he doesn't know anything about it. You can touch the surface of a deep sea but you can't never know anything else unless you have a open mind to look into other religions. Violence and bloodshed isn't exclusive to the religion of Islam. Every religion has had its share of bloodshed, especially those religions that were used to expand civilizations and cultures. We're just seeing more of it from Islam because it's a relatively new religion that we're seeing reaching final stages of fundamentalism, which will lead to a reformist stage. You only see the violence because the media is fixated on the violence, it sells.
