  • i was stuck on Marilyn McCoo back in those days.....

  • a gifted lady true prefomer in everry way such class elgance talent

  • WOW!!!

  • She physically reminds me of Whitney Houston.

The big difference between them is that WH was only a recording artist and could not sing well in live performances.

As for MM she is both a recording artist and great live performer.

She could sing anything at any given time a deliver A Stella Performance.

I always looked forward to hearing her sing on SOLID GOLD.

  • as good a female voice as there has ever been

  • I used to love to see her do the covers; she could sing anything. This seemed a little low for her though.

  • Sheena Easton who? Marylin rocks!!!

  • It's a great remake..not an easy feat!

  • Beautiful Woman,Beautiful vocals;Wish I could have seen her sing live;with or without the 5th Dimention.

  • Better than the original - a richer voice indeed. Marilyn should have been a Bond singer.

  • Marilyn is one gorgeous lady.

  • @stripemister Isn't she just STUNNING ? ur right she is gorgeous and she sings the song better than sheena easton.......she is da bomb !!!

  • great watched this on Channel 10 in Australia she was my favorite!!!

  • Yum I love this sweet woman.....with the wonderful voice .....and also her husband Billy :)

  • i love this song!!!

  • whatta a voice!! a very eloquent woman!

  • Why does this song always involve gay dancing

  • I got to meet Marilyn back in 1975 when she came through WED, where she was auditioning for a song for the new "America Sings" attraction for Disneyland. When you hear her voice behind you and turn around to face her at 2 feet, what a Beautiful Women to behold!

  • @ABOSS302 I'm 54 i've loved her since age 10..thanks.. now convince her about Earthbound..

  • What's not to like.

  • No words to express.

  • Class Act!

  • She is absolutely wonderful. What a voice.

  • if a supermodel could sing... wow

  • This woman is truly blessed. Beautiful, talented, and nice. Wow.

  • Best voice ever!

  • Love her facial expressions as she sings this song...looks like she enjoyed singing it.

  • OMG. I was in love with Sheena when she sang this. Marilyn is superb. I'm glad for both versions. Thanks ladies.

  • I was a fan of the Sheena Easton song, but...

    Are you kidding?!!

I do believe she has the purest singing voice ever.

  • I always felt Marilyn McCoo was underrated as a singer. She could sing just about anything. Nice to look at too!

  • Damn!!!!!!! When I forst clicked on this I thought, Damn! her deep voice doesn't sound as good. But half way through I was hipnotized at how beautiful she sounds.

  • Wow!

  • Dionne Warwicke and Glen Campbell were the original hosts. They counted down the Top 100 Songs of all time as a week long syndicated special.

Then it morphed into the weekly series we all rember hosted by Dionne Warwick.

  • Love seeing Marylyn perform. The show was a great way to show case her great singing. Thanks for posting.

  • Marilyn comes through again...

  • you are so right, they could've just forgot the damn song

  • Wow, I'm old enough to remember when Marilyn McCoo was the host of Solid Gold before Dionne Warwick took over, or re-took it over, as the case may be...I'd love to see more of these!

  • And I'm old enough to remember seeing her live when she was with the 5th Dimension, at least twice, way back when...

  • I remember when Solid Gold was on, and I used to watch it a lot. I didn't appreciate Ms McCoo at the time- but I've rediscovered her out her on YouTube. Also check out her versions of Billy Ocean's Loverboy & Huey Lewis's Power of Love

  • Love this!!
