  • They really aren't that loud. This was just in the Library where there are six or seven in an area that only needs two or three.

  • I belive the model number is a Simplex 4903-9217

  • thats the same alarm at my school

  • I'm pretty sure that was one we did together. That was fun!

  • Holy shit, thats on my brithday!

  • i LIve in Mason Ohio and the fire alrms at the Mason Middle School are just like those same look and sound. I go the High school now and they like this 2 but diffrent look

  • If the alarm sounds for a split second and then an announcement comes over the pa system saying disregard the alarms no evacuation was necessary but if is sounds for quite a bit of time then there may require an evacuation either the real thing or if its a fire drill

  • I don't know about this school but at my high school, when the fire alarm goes off we evacuate. I thought that was just routine but I guess not for all?

  • i have a fire alarm that sounds like that in my school!! it load

  • that is a simplex 4100

  • thats not even a siren, thats a system.

  • they went off once. this idiot was smoking near the sensor

  • Did you turn the camera off in the middle there or did you cut the film when making it for youtube. I want to hear more of that fire alarm.

  • I didn't film this. The person that did turned off the camera at the point you see. I took the camera after she ran it back to the room. I grabbed the camera shot the video of just the strobes flashing away. I wish I got more of the evac, like in my other video.

  • oh, so everyone did leave? Too bad. those alarms make a great sound.

  • sound like 4903-9216s

  • yessss your right!!

  • Do you mean 4903-9219 (or -9217)?

  • love that sound

  • The horns are better and scarier when they are continuous. I hate code 3. We had those fire alarms when at my job. I loved it when they would go off.

  • I love march time.

  • just so you know thats code 3...

  • I know I have a panel

  • I know I meant that I like march time better than code 3

  • i like 30bpm march time with these alarms

  • don't you mean 20bpm?

  • no. 30bpm march time is a RARE pattern i heard once, which is one sec on, one sec off

  • ive never heard it before but It sounds exciting

  • I would imagine my school getting struck by lightning, and the fire alarm system got replaced. I'd imagine the whole school in code three and the horns Wheelock 7002Ts. It would sound horrible compared to this video because the 7002T has the horn and strobe wired together resulting in a skipping sound. That's why most places that have the 7002T don't set it to code three.

  • Someone told me that at my college back in the 1980s lightning struck it and all the clocks stopped working. The fire alarm systems were still functional and weren't replaced until recently

  • The horns sound better doing continuous

  • nice vid....how come near the end only strobes are active w/o horn?

  • thats awesome. it was also cool when the fire alarm when off the last day during the last period.

  • Sound eerie.

  • haha yea that was a SWEET DAY

  • I could tell.
