Fake. I would believe the glitch if he stayed the way he does in the Leap of Faiths or what ever he did that "caused" him to fly. But the flapping occurs nowhere in the game making me believe he, for whatever reason, changed the game code or animated his own or something similar.

First of all, this is Assassin's Creed 1. There is no flying machine in this game. The flying machine is in Assassin's Creed II. This glitch can be seen on other videos as well, though I don't know how to recreate it.
