@murdkipz Before you make a fool of yourself, (oops, too late), I have PERSONALLY sailed to the pacific garbage patch (you obviously think is a lie), I have seen it, touched it and yes, I even observed the dead birds FILLED with plastic!!! NOBODY needs to travel 3000 nautical miles out to the middle of nowhere to " shove it all inside" dead seagull corpses", (they are NOT seagulls, they are young Albatross) Ever ask yourself how they died??? (guess not)... Sorry to say, you are wrong ...

Ocean Voyage Institute is making a HUGE effort to clean up this mess. They are currently raising funds to go the North Pacific Gyre this summer with a team of volunteers to collect the plastic and trash that has accumulated there, as well as researching environmentally friendly ways to dispose of it.
