why gamespot is making a big deal with modern warware 2?, the game it's ok.. it's no that good, it haves terrible graphics, and a very shorty solo play missions that any1 can beat the game in 4 hours, and the online play it's just like the other cod multiplayers

Yea, there were more things, and unless you go on the internet and search for info then you might never know what was really going on.

For example, at first I didn't even know that the airport was Russian, with all the English shops, advertising etc, and I didn't know the motive of Makarov either.

Makarovs motive in the airport was to create a terrorist attack at the russian airport, and leave the american body behind.

leaving the US body behind (who was also a military person) gave the russians a motive to invade USA

Shepard was the one who told Makarov that private allen (the dead american in the airport) was an american.

Yeah. I said the first time I played wolverines that it was a reference to Red Dawn! That is my favorite movie and I enjoyed the similarities. If you liked this game but have not seen Red Dawn, I recommend renting it!

Makarov's man served as a foreshadow; a little warning about Shepherd. Shepherd was in with Makarov, and in order for their plan to work the fallen man in the "No Russian" level was smuggled to the states and planted there. He couldn't be left at the airport because otherwise Russia would not go to war with the U.S.
