  • I don't understand how the vocals are in the left channel; if there is only one microphone and it isn't a stereo microphone, how are the channels separate? Were the vocals somehow EQ'ed out of the right channel and how could that be done without affecting the guitar sound?

  • @PrivateBuckwheat He DI'd the guitar.

  • @PrivateBuckwheat Direct Input for Guitar. You can actually hear the difference between an acoustic guitar an semi-acoustic (plugged in) one.

  • The vocals are only in the left speaker. It's annoying with headphones on.. otherwise nice song.

  • hmm. Your panning is insane. less panning mate

  • Dude. That recording sucked balls.

I've recorded better with $5 a peel and stick mic.

You need a better setup and a boom for that condenser.

Sounds like your playing under a pile of moving blankets.

I don't think you are qualified to recommend what gear to use bro.

    Just sayin...

  • @bucktheusa it's because he didnt add any effects its ACOUSTIC,and the distance is bigger than normal. and also the room isnt isolated. so dont blame the mic :)

  • You are a great singer! Are you looking to get signed? Make sure you are ready!

  • what mic interface do you use? m-audio?

  • nice video. can the NT1A plug into a computer?

  • @ILOVEARV yes?

  • @ILOVEARV It is an XLR plug, no USB.

I would recommend the M-audio MobilePRE USB.

  • recording the guitar and vocals at the same time in a studio is a big no no....Boomy rool of the bass -10 DB

  • hi men! do you know if that Tascam us122 interface can work with pro tools??

    thank you!

  • i got this mic and all i got is horrible fuzz in the background , even in a booth, how do i reduce that and crispen it up?

  • @mitz657 That might be electric hum, or its just your audio interface.. try earthing and grounding

  • sounds very good..the mic is soon gna be mine, thanx for helping make the decision easier...so heres an off question...i really like the fx, its so subtle yet very lush, did you use an outboard fx processor (like the lex mx200) or is it software, or some onboard internal hard recorder all in one solution...thanx again!!

  • thanks dude, it was a faulty mic that was all, i changed it now for a working one

  • omggg the nt1a is so beautiful, i cant wait til i get it. The intro riff kinda sounds like something from sonata arctica

  • This is awsome quality, i haven't tried my røde mic yet, and i'm bying a konnkt 8 and i'm using a focusrite trakmaster pro together with it!!

  • nice !

  • Why the voice is only on the left channel?

    Saluti, Marco.

  • I agree the audio recording is amazing when watching it in high quality. What effects did you use in Vegas (I use the program too). Sounds like some kind of time shift and panning?

  • did u adjust the eq,before recording and does this have a little reverb on it

  • I recorded with a Flat EQ then added reverb and a little compression after.

    thanks,

    Matt

  • Thanks man, it was the refrigerator making the noise. I moved it across the room after it ruined tha last video.

    Thanks for the comments,

    Peace

  • Oh, okay so it wasn't the microphone making that noise. It sounds awesome on this video!
