Rich people are wonderful. You learn a lot about them and thier greed and how low they'll stoop for money and what they will do when they lose thier money.
Watching them is to understand why Abraham Lincoln was shot dead. How could he let slaves go when there was so much money involved? And it may have been some rich plantation owner with a thousand slaves that sent John Wilks Booth to that theatre to kill Honest Abe.
America is the best. Land of thieves, Built by thieves !
Well, I am truly sorry for some of his victims - widows and charities who invested with this man. How ironic that these rich people were themselves discriminated against because of anti-Semitism. Maybe in the future they should not cold-shoulder anyone poor who is also tolerant and accepting. How ironic too that I, whose job was cut, came out better with my relatively paltry savings and thrify ways than people who put all their eggs in the Madoff basket. La Dolce Vida? Nope!
Geez! When we use are valued resources to produce items like a $1200 shirt , $2000 pants and people actually buy them, it doesn't speak well of our American value system.
@mastmedia In the 1974 film "Freebie & The Bean" James Caan who was Freebie told Alan Arkin who was the Bean where in a clothing store and some he Bean had mentioned why is this guy paying over $100.00 for a shirt. Freebie said "you take this to the cleaners a million times the buttons come back intact. This piece of junk your wearing was made in a back room by gooks made in Chinatown" The guy they were pursuing was a mobster who can afford those clothes.
@mastmedia i saw the 1974 film "Freebie & The Bean" with James Caan & Alan Arkin about two klutzy cops with San Francisco's finest and some mob kingpin spends $75.00 for a shirt.
