The US wouldn't have invaded Iraq had the people of that nation denounced radical Islam. Same with Afghanistan. I dont think any nation would stand for another bombarding their civilians and city, so why should the West have to? All the muslim nations have to do is stop supporting terror. Simple as that.

@Republic178 Not all Muslims support terrorism. Only a very small group of people being controlled by a fundamentalist freak support violence against everyone else. The Iraq War had very little do with 9/11 because no solid evidence was found connecting Saddam to the attacks. We went there because Saddam was commiting crimes against his own people and because Iraq was rich in oil. The same goes to Afghanistan. The Taliban was treating its people like animals and they needed to be stopped.

The Taliban was only a small group of 'Muslims',but they managed to manipulate people of a country to turn evil, giving the religion of Islam a bad name. We should not hate the religion, blame the specific people (Bin Laden, Mulah Omar, etc.) that caused this storm because If we don't respect another religion, we will only invite more people to hate us.

The nations that are dominantly Muslim (Saudi Arabia,Afghanistan,Pakistan,Iraq,Iran,etc.) have a history of governments that not only oppressed the people, but they silenced them from speaking out.
