The Boston is organized in a way that you have to qualify to run it which usually means running somewhere around a 3:30 marathon. These are all world class athletes -- I say let anyone in who can qualify. That's what makes Boston special.

NYC marathon was crazy. Tunewas 3rd at 20 miles and drop back to 7th. I don't know how Ndereba and Jeptoo caught her. She was 2 minute ahead of Ndereba at 20 miles.

what we can compere between kenya and ethiopia with is that when you people watch ethiopia fouvarat 10000m kenya as also world record but when you watch kenyas fouvarat steeplachase the story is only about kenya from olympic to wolrds and you people dont forget that there are so many kenyans runnig for other countries but see kenya is steel the best good example with osaka.any way we are all africans and thats good.

I have been to the Prefontaine Classic many times and seen the finest runners go for the gold and I'm sure that you feel the rush when they go full out head to head. I think the Ethiopian runners are great as well as the Kenyans. I lost my enthusiasm for running when Marian Jones who I admired a lot was found to have cheated. When the urine and blood test come back as negative then everyone can celebrate. That is the real world. Congratulations to both runners, a splendid performance, I think!

Dopping is not a third world problem. It requires scientific sofistication to avoid detection, which the west is good at. Third world countries like Ethiopia or Kenya have absolutly no capacity or desire to make such drugs or cheat. They have 100% clean hardworking athlets. So, when you cant beat them, dont blame them.
