Yeah, they made that reference when Asa died the first time. During his first funeral, there was a video reference where they showed the Asian girl. Then the current Blair looks at herself in her mirror confused.

when she first came on, she was played by Mia Korf. She was asian american, and that is the actress who played Blair when she married Asa. But after she left and was recast, we had a blonde haired American playing her. OLTL has joked about it a few times.
