You know it's funny but when I first was trying this on the second braid it would just go straight down and I kept rewatching it trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. So just like I do on your wrap around the head braid I started with both my hands in back and it comes out like it should look in the back directed towards the side. Anyways love it and thank you.

i have natral long thick curly hair so the hairstyles dont hold very well and just doin the top part of the hairstyle it didnt even show on my hair i was wondering if you can do a tutorial with this same hair style but using curly hair instead it will help me a lot and my hair dries really quickly i was wondering if you know any good products 2 help fix that thanks :D

When I try this hairstyle, my braid in the front becomes tilted in the direction following the braid from the back and the end product looks awkward whereas your braid in the front is lying soft and straight.

I have extremely soft silky hair and have a hard time styling my hair. I can tease my hair, but very soon it comes undone. Do you have any suggestions what I can do to get volume?

@perfidioushuman My niece has that same problem. When she knows she wants to braid it she doesn't wash it the night before (dirty hair) and when time to braid puts product in her hair to keep from slipping. She also has to do this to get curls to stay since its so straight and silky.

I have layers, and when I braid or twist, I end up with the ends of the shorter layers sticking out everywhere. I think you have layers too - how do you stop this from happening?

@franklinmonkey My hair is very thin, so the layers are very thin too... and hiding them is way easier than it would be in case of thick hair. But anyways, whenever I feel that there's something about to start sticking out, I twist the problematic section of hair and direct the "sticking out end" inside of the braid. This way is stays invisible on the "outside" and the braid looks neat :) I can even try to get them inside of the strand so that they are covered by longer hair and don't show :)

What you are doing is the normal french braid but only adding hair in the middle section right?? like the previous video?

@killphaser25 It's a dutch braid (aka inside out french braid), I'm basically doing "under, under, add to the middle", while traditionally it's "under, add, under, add" :) I do use this technique quite often when I braid close to the face (for braided hairbands etcs) as it reduces the number of "section-adds" by half :)

@wraaowh I also used to think that it's impossible, but then I realized that for some braids you don't need to be able to see what you're doing, and with some practice your fingers start braiding into in the autopilot mode ;) Also, trying it on someone else before braiding your own hair is a good thing to do to get the feel of it :)
