I think this show is where Tom also plays kettle drums....amazingly, all to Pasties and a G-String. Why he never touched them again, after showing such mastery, I'll never know. How about that bass? I miss that sound in his later albums...the forward sound of the bass.
Forget Salgan, Pugliese and Di Sarli, this is the way to play the tango. It reminds me of Fresedo when he wanted to have some fun and played a fox trot.

Excellent. I do not get angry out of it, and while there is certainly a prominent dissonance, I think much of the "unharmonious" nature is due to distortion in the recording.
