It's funny that Bugatti did a car that you should be able to use every day, it had a boot and air conditioning, sat nav and all that, but what SSC did is they jsut threw to gether some panels and a bucnh of horsepower and beat the veyron. then the veyron decieded to beat SSC they had to stoop down to thier level by removing all of the stuff like aircon and satnav and added a bunch of horsepower, so just panels and horses for both Vey and SSC.And the buggatti came on top. awesome story

They after all lose money on each sale, obvious why it was built. That's pretty vague. My friends Cobra is a twin turbo V8 and cost less than 10 grand, doesn't mean I'd take it over a Veyron. Especially an SS.
Also "faster" is pointless. How many times do the owners of these cars ever even get to open them up unless they go to the track? "My car tops out at 230, 260, 550mph" doesn't matter if you never get it over 100.

SSC is the best value for the money, BY FAR.. And the new SSC even more so! The Pig-Ron went 267 on a test track and not a real road. The SSC went 257 on a public road, out in the middle of nowhere, even with a snake curve in the middle, but they ran out of road.
