Jesus Christ he has the biggest soleus in his calves I have ever seen. It looks like he has split calves but it's just the soleus. Most people don't realize but it you train your soleus hard it will actually help to make your overall calf size bigger because it will push the gastrocnemius out and give it a fuller appearance. Obviously, you need to train the gastroc as well, but I think you should train the soleus first with seated calf raises then the gastroc with standing raises.

yeah, but its just his genetics obviously. im sure someone would have figured out what you said a while ago within the past 50 years of this sport. he trains calves just like anyone else, and hardly trains them at that.

Of course bodybuilders figured out what I said; where do you think I got the info from. Most bb'ers know to train the soleus first because it does make the gastrocnemius stand out more. Fank's calves are just so damn huge and his soleus is so much more pronounced than the average bb'er. I agree it's genetics and my comment about training was geared more for the average person than for the way he trains his legs which I don't know exactly what he does.
