Faster by a few milliseconds and you're less reliable to drag the layer to the wrong icon.

Makes it far easier to draw from. Its easy to get distracted by the contrast of colors and shadows when you are drawing from a photo. Nice tutorial.

I've tried these steps and have the same problem as mixx9876. I have Elements 8.0 and can not find desaturation under Image>Adjustments. When I simply convert it to black and white, I don't get a white screen, its is colored. Any ideas on what I may be doing wrong.
