Well, "Soul Calibur" is also made by Namco, and that's good enough for me to accept it. I like Tekken's way of fighting, but Soul Calibur always seems to have the better looking graphics. I agree with you on the rest, though...None of them can hold a candle to Tekken. At least in terms of gaming pleasure to me.
I used to like the old 2d Mortal Kombats, but the new 3d MKs has been stinking with each new release. I wonder if Midway/Acclaim can ever re-vamp the MK franchise to be good and successful again, like the way Crystal Dynamics has re-vamped the Tomb Raider games...
