  • They sound like they've been harmonizing for years.

  • judith and max what a great combination, god bless you both.xxx

  • Lovely song. Thanks for posting. Im 34 years old, and have loved them since i was 12 years old. If i could have ANY wish, it would be to travel back to the Sixties and see the Seekers in their hayday.. Id be in heaven.. Merry Christmas all.

  • Judith has haunt me since I set my eyes on her. She is simply bewitching.

  • @bernarddeng agree

  • Why doesn't someone reunite them to sing this before one of them dies? He's 89 and has Alzheimer's now though, but Judith's voice sounds exactly the same as in the 1960s. God Bless both of them.

  • Such a beautiful song. I was in grade school but I remember this great song, Thank you for posting.

  • That is *just* gorgeous!

  • Superb! Judith is always a class act...That's why I've been a fan of hers for years...Go Judith..

  • Two products of a different era - and how so much better off for it.

  • Oh please, they don't hold a candle to connie francis.

  • The best version of this song was done by Lena Zavaroni.

  • It just doesn't get any better than this, this is music and most of that other stuff......well I'm not sure what it is ? God bless

  • She is beautiful, had a big crush on her when i was a kid.

  • Sure a number one hit!!! If never done, make it now number one! The time has come!

  • One word - Perfect.

  • the harmony!

  • Great song

  • I'd love to sing a song with you Judith...what about this one?

Oh the one we've been rehearsing all day?...yes good idea.

  • @QueenReigns1 Yeah, it's a corny intro, but it's just the way it was done back then.

  • @puppydoug But you knew what they were singing and able to understand the lyrics

  • I've listened to JD in other posts say how she used to think herself unattractive, with a fat face, without "pop star" quality looks. To me that's exactly why she was so appealing. There was not a phony bone in her body, her natural radiance there to behold in every song. Her constant smile, her twinkling eyes, and that VOICE made her, in many man's opinion - as you've read in just about every Seeker post - an angel. As you see here, there was, and is, nothing unattractive about Judith Durham.

  • I'm really a fan of max bygraves, this song is also my favorite ,best of

Connie Francis, sing alongs with Max I love too !!!

  • Judith soars when she sings a part on her own - lovely. To be fair though I don't think Max's singing voice is bad at all. Her voice blends very well with his.

  • what a voice. She is my favorite vocalist/musician of all time.

  • Ahhh, Judith and her pure tones...superb. Also, additional proof of the wonderful way she blends when she sings with others.

  • Thank goodness for youtube. I might never seen this gem of music history.

  • She sang way too much junk like this

  • @taddyd1

And you type too much junk like that.

  • @QueenReigns1

Ella Fitzgerald, who had the original hit, called it the corniest song I ever recorded.

Judith has a lovely voice but her career really lacked focus.

  • @taddyd1

Who gives a shit what Ella Fatzgerald said?

If you call this junk you have no musical taste..end of.

  • @QueenReigns1

I am sure that Judith reveres what the greatest pop singer in history said.

  • @taddyd1 I don't personally really think that anything Judith has sung is junk, she has a beautiful voice even now and can more or less sing any song she likes and make it sound her own.

  • Nice its Judith at its best again... thanks for posting...

  • YOU COULD LISTEN TO THIS FOREVER..THANK YOU

  • That was really lovely. Judith should have recorded that.

  • brilliant upload, ive not seen this one before. CARL

  • i wonder why it was never released as a duet it would have been a real collectors item ..

  • @justmaz2004 , Ok, why not release it now, you could digitaly remaster this and it wold find a market in both world music, folk and western, its quite a bit like a country melody. Grins
