i have the pantech matrix pro but i don't play the $30.00 data plan:D what i did was delete all the internet profiles out of the phone and so it can never connect to the internet or data whatsoever. the only disadvantage is i can only text and talk. and noah is right. the pantech matrix pro is the better choice. i dont like the matrix cause the keyboard is flat. PANTECH MATRIX PRO FTW!:D

@monkskull97 get the samsung impression or LG xenon. im (hopefully) getting the impression for Christmas and the LG xenon is basically the same but a costs less but is not like as good? i don't know how to word it out but the impression is better :) look up samsung impression vs lg xenon dogfight and choose :P

I got the blue Matrix & its awesome. Nothing wrong with it & I got it like in March for my birthday. Still slide it a lot cuz it trips people out when they don't know that the phone can slide 2 ways. Texting & music & internet works great on this sweet phone. Matrix over MatrixPro anyday!!!

i have the regular matrix and it is a hell of alot better than the pro.

The pro takes like 2seconds for the screen to turn and that makes more of a difference than u think and the regular one takes .25seconds for the screen to turn
