Getz, mon premier disque de jazz (Indian Summer, Marcia, What's new, Crazy Chords etc.), Getz ! Je l'ai écouté, réécouté, j'ai acheté ses disques au fur et à mesure qu'ils paraissaient (ça en fait beaucoup !), je l'ai vu en concert, en club (Chat qui pêche - PARIS) et finalement, après toutes ces années, je me demande si ce n'est pas les premiers enregistrements, tels ceux-ci, que je préfère...

ゲッツとヘイグの顔合わせはディスコグラフィーで調べると194­8年頃からのようです。

その集大成がこのアルバムをはじめとする一連のルーストセッショ­ンとプレスティッジでのスタジオ録音（「スタンゲッツカルテッツ­」）ですね。

この時期「クール」と呼ばれていたゲッツのテナーが、アドリブの­方向性を徐々に変えつつあったことがこれらの演奏で分かりますね­。

特に2曲目にそれが顕著に現れていると思います。
