These are veterans, they are brave enough to put their lives on the line. I salute to all you soldiers who fought for Canada and other countries, it's not easy to fight for your country, I know these guys had the strength to. Thank you very much to the soldiers who fought for Canada and died in combat
Support our troops. This video broke my heart. Not everything ends happily, we want to see our tropps come home safely, but it doesn't always work out that way.. We may not all agree with the war in Iraq, and Aphganistan, but it is our duty as Canadians to supprt the brave men and women who are out there fighting for our country. Be proud, be strong, and know it is because of those brave troops that we have the priveledge to call ourselves Canadian....."the truth North strong and free...."

This is the spirit of Canada that I thought was lost...remember you're people; those that have come and gone and those that serve bravely today...you, my comrades in the Canadian and Fire Services of Canada, along with the people herein, have inspired this CF member to keep moving forward..thank-you
you never gana win bcause their beleives is stronger than urs .... they faith to die and you are faithing for money and to comeback to life .. ,to kill them all not easy because everyday more people joing them ,
because not every last muslim wants a chance to kill you. I have talked to people in Pakistan and Afghanistan and it is not that they hate us as americans or canadians, they hate us because we have encroached on their land. However, true muslims only want to use war as a last resort, not terrorists who want to kill innocents. In fact, there are terrorist groups out there who are fighting Al-Qaeda, fighting for a just war.
@MrJJackYT thats got to be the first comment ive ever seen you put on a canadian military video without bashing it. im glad to know that you have a heart and know that they still pay the ultimate sacrifice whether or not they are good (which they are).
Our soldiers come from a country with good morals and values. Where ever they may be I know they will always do the right thing. That's why I can be proud of them and their families!
hwy of heros is the most amazing thing to see it shows how thankfull we are for what our troops do for us......i love living 2 min away from it and driving by all the ppl standing there waving there flags and holding candels
It's deff a touching place to be, I went down there (from N.B) to see my friend Chad O'Quinns remains drive down the highway, the most touching place I've ever been.
My boyfriend is in Afgahnistan for the second time since 2007. Feel free to join `SUPPORTONS NOS MILITAIRES CANADIENS, on facebook ;) God bless you all, soldiers, families and friends ;)
This is exactly what we saw as we drove with Sapper Sean Greenfield down the "Highway of Heroes". From Trenton Ontario to Toronto, firemen, policemen and kind hearted folk lined the highway and overpasses. The family of the late Sapper Sean Greenfield just want to thank, from the bottom of our hearts, all those who came out to pay their respects to Sean. Your kindness and dedication gave much needed comfort to our hearts.
I just became a Canadian citizen after a seven year process, I came from Britain, where dead soldiers come home in shame and to abuse from muslims, and British soldiers take off the uniform at the airport to avoid being abused and attacked by immigrants, what a difference.
This is a great and honarable tribute to the soldiers. I am from the USA and will be so happey when Bush walks out of the White House for the last time. My hopes are to bring all of the boys home that are there helping us and our own. God bless those that have helped and their families.
that is truely amazing! a few months ago here in london, there was a home coming parade for the troops, and the streets were empty.. it is great to see that patriotism still exists somewhere in the western world. i am ashamed of british attitude, no one cares anymore

How do you win a war where your enemy is willing to die for just the chance to kill you ? Unless we kill them 'all', how can we win ?

Those are people who died, died
They were all my friends, and they died
G-berg and Georgie let their gimmicks go rotten
So they died of hepatitis in upper Manhattan
Sly in Vietnam took a bullet in the head
Bobby OD'd on Drano on the night that he was wed
They were two more friends of mine
Two more friends that died
Those are people who died, died
They were all my friends, and they died
