The Bible never considers them real gods.Psalms 135 clearly details that they were made from the nads of men and says they have ears but cannot hear, eyes and cannot see. and what about Isaiah which states there are no othe Gods, I am the only God. @zeustruth There is also a problem because we know for a fact that this wasn't borrowed from other stories because it had been prophesied to happen 700 years before Jesus in Isaiah. Further He fits 300 specific prophecies that specifically point to Him. If someone said they were the messiah they would have to fit all those prophecies.
