As hienas sabem caçar mas preferem roubar a caça dos outros animais, porém quando o temido Leão pega uma hiena, o resultado é morte ou sérias conseqüências, por isso as hienas mantém uma certa distância e perturbam o felino para o fazer abandonar a caça. Sem o Leão as hienas teriam mais trabalho.
brilliant, 1 Lioness walks back to the kill and about 30 Hyenas disperse. I really wanted to see a Lion walk into this scene aswell, that would have been interesting.
attaching a single lion with a team is not challenging....... the thrill comes when a pride of lions face off with hyena clans.......... the same hyenas which attacked a single lion will pray the price.........
Hi aslimburg, funny it wasn't actually Chris, it was my dad! Will tell him his laugh sounds like Chris. Thanks for the comments, was an amazing sight, watched the build up from 6pm the night before when the first strike was made and mum still fighting them off to this which was 8am the next morning.

This lioness is very brave hyenas could kill her. She was reluctant to give up food and hyenas have no compassion.
